Based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and the idea that the entire body can be mapped onto a smaller body part, like the ear. Ear seeding is an alternative therapy that involves placing small seeds on to the ear, to stimulate acupressure points that correspond to an ailment that the recipient is wanting to treat.

When you come for this treatment we will spend 20-25minutes speaking about what brought you in that day and exploring some of the root causes to see if coaching or mindfulness tips can be share with you. I will always look to treat the root cause of something if possible for deeper results for you!

I will then map out the acupuncture points on your ear using a probe, to find the correct location based on the ailment you want to treat. Then I place the seeds, which are made from the Vaccaria plant onto each specific point and secure them with adhesive tape. I will then stimulate each seed and show you how to do the same at home.

Each acupuncture point corresponds to an area of the body which we want the brain to pay more attention to. Whether it's for pain, hormones or emotions, we will be stimulating the areas we need to, to help the body find ease and balance to calm the symptoms.

The seeds typically last between 10-14 days with good at home care.
